Welcome Participants,

Welcome to the 7th IAMB Winter conference of the International Academy of Management and Business that took place on January 25-27, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

The theme of the conference was presented by two keynote lectures: “A Correlational Approach to the Study of Professional Culture and Intra-organizational Conflict” by Professor Linda Herkenhoff, Ph.D., and “Creativity: An Orphan in Business Schools, but a Wunderkind for the Business World” by Professor Edward Rockey, Ph.D.

IAMB extends its gratitude and appreciation for their outstanding and well received presentations.

The conference provided a platform for professionals, practitioners, academics, educators and researchers in the various fields of management and business to disseminate and share the latest research, knowledge and experiences. The conference hosted scholars from 25 countries around the world, covering over 43 universities, academic institutions and businesses. The friendly atmosphere, the one on one opportunity for exchange and networking, and the multi-national exposure were cited among the top benefits from conference attendees. Each submitted abstract/paper is peer reviewed and only accepted abstracts/papers were presented. Selected manuscripts will be published in the official journal of IAMB, the International Journal of Management and Business, IJMB.
